Digital guest payments can include a 5% service fee to cover card processing (e.g. TWINT and cards). Cash orders are tracked in your dashboard; handling is on site between guest and truck.

Before you buy

  • What if a food truck cancels at the last minute?

    You handle replacements like any vendor list: invite another truck if you still have a free slot, or work directly with your network. Abanero keeps invitations and slots clear so you know what is still open.

  • Do my guests have to download an app?

    No. They scan the truck QR code or open the menu in the browser on their phone. No install required for guests.

  • How do I get the money from sales, and when?

    Your planner dashboard shows digital order totals live as they come in. Card and TWINT payments are settled directly to your Stripe account after the event — you receive the order total minus card-network fees (Visa, Mastercard, TWINT, etc.) and a 5 % Abanero service fee. Cash handed over at the truck stays between the guest and the vendor on site.

  • Can I cancel or change my event after buying the package?

    You can update your event details (name, date, location, settings) in Abanero at any time. The package fee is covered by our Terms; we do not guarantee refunds for organiser cancellations. If plans change, contact us and we will see what is possible.

  • What kinds of events do you support?

    Corporate gatherings, festivals, weddings, internal company events — anywhere food trucks serve guests with a shared ordering flow. If your format is unusual, write to us and we will tell you honestly if it fits.
